Why, Why, Why DO I HAVE TO EXERCISE?

Exercise offers a number of advantages to clients attempting to achieve long-term weight loss and a healthier lifestyle.

Advantages Increases energy’ expenditure. This means you boost your metabolic rate, which helps your body burn fat much quicker with exercise. For each pound of weight lost, more fat than muscle is burned, which results in greater preservation of lean body mass.

Mild to moderate activity helps in reducing insulin levels and decreases the body’s resistance to insulin. The result is less hunger, more "fat-burning", and greater health promotion.
