STATEMENT OF INTENT
The
Hazard Clinic provides comprehensive ambulatory health care services in one location with
our ultimate objective being the improvement of the general health and well being of the
recipients served by our center.
Our
facility employees a team of health care professionals who are focused on the overall
management of our patients and their family's health and health related needs. We
emphasize preventive and maintenance health measures with a continuity of care assured by
established and periodic checks of the patients records, including plans of care.
We
are committed to serving as the patient's primary health resource, arranging referrals to
an appropriate provider when we determine that the patient's and/or his family's needs
cannot be met at our center.
We
are committed to educating the patient's and their families concerning illnesses,
preventative care and follow up. We are also committed to functioning as an educator
and facilitator in the community concerning health care issues and concerns.

Dr. Wicker elected into ACP
fellowship |

Dr.
Mitchell Wicker Jr. has been elected a Fellow of the American
College of Physicians (ACP), the society of internist. The
distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the
specialty of adult medical care. Dr.
Wicker was elected on the recommendation of peers, and the review of
ACP's credentials subcommittee. |
