HEALTHY INFANTS

OFFICE VISITS
Office visits are recommended at 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, and at 15-18 months

HEALTH CARE SCREENING

Screening for congenital hypothyroidism, hemoglobinopathies, and phenylketonuria (PKU) (blood tets)

Prior to hospital discharge, but no later than 6 days

Height / Weight

Periodically

Lead level

Once btween age 9 months and 2 years

Hemoglobin and hematocrit (blood count)

Once btween age 9 months and 2 years

Head circumference

Periodically through 18 months

Dr. Wicker elected into ACP fellowship

 

Dr. Mitchell Wicker Jr. has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the society of internist. 

The distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care.

Dr. Wicker was elected on the recommendation of peers, and the review of ACP's credentials subcommittee.
